Happy Friday Folks! Happy New Year as well. I am taking another Friday off from Featured Friday’s this week. After preparing for the holidays and having a sick family, myself included for 3 weeks, I was spent and looked forward to taking a few weeks off. I didn’t even plan it, it just sort of happened, I didn’t have anyone scheduled and when I started booking for after the New Year I decided to take this week off! Boy am I glad that I did! Though 5 days into the holiday grind after all gifts were opened and put away I was starting to get withdrawals from writing! So I thought it would be fun to bring you the TOP 10 Featured Friday’s of 2013, I can’t tell you how fun it was to push a button and slowly go down the list of views to see which ones were in the running! How I get my views I’m not really sure, maybe it’s the person’s blog name, maybe it’s how I sell it, all I know is that these ten blogs won! Now I just wish I had a prize to give to them!! Instead I’ll give them a virtual hug and a nice shout out! READY??!! Here we go!!
10. Fearlessly Creative Mamma’s – which is awesome, it shows my views for Featured Friday’s are really up because it was the last one I did. Here is what I made from Kathleen & Samantha’s kitchen.
9. So Very Blessed – Well now that I’ve been reminded of what I made from Becky’s kitchen makes me want to run out and make this dish again! I remember eating both of these recipes all week for lunch. I didn’t even feel guilty either!
8. Eat Your Heart Out – Remember Stephie, her amazing dishes and her amazing photographs! I made her veggie lasagna in the crock, reading through it reminded me that my picky daughter ate it so maybe I’ll have to try it again since the kid eats nothing these days!
7. Cupcakes and Kale Chips – Brianne! Love her blog and all of her yummy recipes. I made her sandwiches of all sandwhiches guys, spice, heat, bread and all you’d need to make this complete is a cold beer!
6. Foxes Loves Lemons – Remember the awesome Rice Pilaf I made awhile back, it was healthy, fresh and……..GREEN! Yup I ran to the store to buy the ingredients and I’m making this one again later this week!
5. Juggling with Julia – Super happy Julia got in on the Top ten because she has such an awesome site, plus she’s from New England and I swear one of these days I’m going to meet this girl!! Her recipe I made was the perfect blend of breakfast and a little Nutella for the sweet tooth!
4. Daddy Knows Less – My very first, and very only Dad blogger that I’ve featured! I was so happy to finally feature a Daddy here at Momma’s Meals. I love Justin’s style of writing and I made one of his dishes that was also loved by my picky girl!
3. Steph’s Bite by Bite – Steph is the sweetheart that had a babya few months before I had Drew. I made her amazing Beef Pot Pie that made my house smell amazing and our tummy’s nice and happy!! Love Steph’s week by week post of how big her baby boy has gotten, man I wish I could do it on a weekly basis, I have all I can do to get it done monthly!
2. The Blonde Can Cook – Yet another great pick here, I made two of Mallory’s dishes that were out of this world. I highly recommend both these recipes if your looking for a cheat night!
1. The Meltaways now called Blueberries and Blessings– Gotta love Pam for winning the top Featured Friday of 2013!!!! Congrats Pam. That just means everyone needs to run out and make this Fritatta ASAP!! Another #SundaySupper lady!
So that is the TOP 10 Featured Friday’s guys! I hope you enjoyed the refreshers, I hope it makes you go and visit these blogs again because it’s reminded me just how lucky I’ve been this year to get to know all of these wonderful bloggers!! Happy New Year everyone! May 2014 bring you health and happiness!
Came over to scope out my entry on the list, but then got distracted by Brianne’s Buffalo Chicken Sloppy Sandwiches. My mouth is watering!
LOL, Lori! I have to make your Guac rice for my little guy!
Oh, these all look so good. I had surgery on my mouth yesterday and just want some real food. Thank you for featuring us.
Thanks Tammi! It was fun swapping recipes with you!
