This recipe is from Taste of Homes magazine, my aunt came up to our camp last weekend with a stack of magazines for me………I quickly got to work!! I made it this past week for my mom, hubby and grandmother, it was awesome!!! I served it with another recipe in the same magazine Hawaiian Style Baked Beans. Both were made in my crock, it was perfect because it was hot and muggy! I was loved all the way around the table!
Ingredients:
3 lbs of Country Style Ribs (we used half bone and half boneless, use what you like!)
1 1/2 Cups of Ketchup
1/4 Cup of brown sugar
1/4 Cup of maple syrup
1/4 Cup of prepared mustard
1/4 Cup of reduced sodium soy sauce
2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. of garlic, minced
1/8 tsp. of pepper
Not sure why I thought BBQ sauce was in this recipe but I jumped the gun on this one…….no BBQ sauce LOL!!
What to do:
Place the ribs in a Crock Pot. In a large mixing bowl mix all of the above ingredients together.
Pour ingredients over the ribs and cook on low for 7-9 hours. I cooked them 10 am to 6pm.
You’ll get these beauties in the end……..I only eat boneless but the ones that were on the bone, fell right off! I love when that happens!
I was able to shred it with a fork. That’s when you know they are to DIE FOR!
It had awesome taste! Serve it with Hawaiian Style Baked Beans and you will not be disappointed….but………you’ll need two crock pots!
Looking forward to making these, my daughter LOVES ribs! Thanks!
They were awesome! BTW you were the 200th person to like Momma’s Meals so you get a free Land O Lakes Coupon with an awesome recipe 🙂 can you email me your address? Hope your daughter enjoys!
That’s great, thank you! I’ve been sort of re-invigorated to write lately thanks to the blogosphere, and I’m hoping the same fire to cook (no pun intended) will be re-lit as well. I just don’t do it anymore since it’s usually just me or me & my daughter, but I love doing it. Email is on the way!
this will be sunday dinner tomorrow!!!!!
