I tried these last week hoping for a new snack to grab and go! My husband and I both loved them! I’m going to be making them every week! I may experiment and try adding a few chocolate chips, butterscotch chips or some raisins in them and see how that goes. They are VERY filling and I had one after my workouts a few days this past week.
What you’ll Need:
4 sccops of chocolate shakeology (or try chocolate protein powder)
3 cups of old-fashioned rolled oats (I used quick oats)
1 tsp of unsweetened cocoa powder
1 dash of cinnamon
1 cup of non-fat milk
1/2 cup of reduced fat peanut butter
1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
What to do:
Combine shakeology, oats, cocoa powder, and cinnamon in a bowls in a large bowl and mix well to combine.
Add milk, peanut butter, and vanilla and mix well with a wooden spoon or rubber spatula by hand.
Grease an 8×8 baking dish with oil and paper towel and add the mixture to the pan using your hands and spatula to spread it out evenly. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 3 hours. Cut into 12 bars.
