Happy Friday! This Feature is a little different than most. I’m trying to venture out and get to know some Momma blogs! It’s been harder to get people to agree to be featured, I know I know, it’s simple but some blogs have rules and regulations and they run their own way, which is totally awesome, I’m learning more this way! I thought I’d take this week to introduce some of my favorite Mommy blogs! I’m trying to do more activities with my daughter, more crafts and just some plain good ol’ fashion homemade idea’s! So stay tuned for my “homemade cupcake sticks”, my “Momma’s Survival kit” and the “Rainy Day bag”, all great ideas coming soon!
I recently discovered Asia over at Fun at home with Kids. She’s got some great activities for each season and each age group. Once I get some supplies I’m surly going to be making our own playdough since Madison loves that so stay tuned. One I may try this week is her Rainbow Soap Foam Bubbles, it’s a Sensory play activity.
From Mrs. to Mama, I’ve been following Becky’s blog for awhile now, I just love the way she writes, we share a lot of the same feelings, especially her latest post on Strengths and Weaknesses of Marriage, Becky does Show and Tell Monday’s, each Monday is a new theme, I wish I had checked in with her because this one would have been worth writing about. However next weeks theme is a Letter to the Newleyweds, I’ll try and jump on bored with that one. I also did a few of Becky’s Show and Tell’s earlier this year. Show and Tell Monday: Let’s talk Babies. Or how about Show and Tell Monday: Wedding Bells a Ringing. I wished I kept up with this blog more, I’ve missed the themes, this Momma get’s my gears turning in my head! She also has some amazing recipes and she also writes to her children, who seem to be around the same age as mine!!
Trish blogs over at Mom on Timeout, great name huh! She has an AWESOME Craft section. Like really AWESOME. I love this DIY Organization Desk..…..I think I need this for myself LOL! She also has some great DIY Gift ideas too, sounds like I’m going down the right path with the craft idea’s I have in mind because Trish has some great “Survival” ideas!
Sarah Simply Me is a blog about parenting, recipes, crafts, a little of everything. Sarah is a SAHM to 3 beautiful children, I’m pretty sure she had her third shortly before Drew was born. I actually just read a post on “All it took was focus” she has a son that is more sensitive than most, I feel this way about Miss Madison. She found an herbal supplement that seems to help her son so I just bought some!! It’s nice to hear someone else talk about an overally sensitive child because I don’t know any others besides my own so I now don’t feel so alone. I thought my kid was the only one who has a fear of wind and change! She has a section on homemade products too, I do want to venture into this someday, when I have more time on my hands, if I ever do! I’m always up for Momma tips too so visit her “Kids” section and see what kind of tips this Momma has to offer! Oh and her Recipes……….well those speak for themselves!
Well those are just SOME of my favorite Momma blogs, I have tons of others and I’m exploring more and more as I find activities for me and MM to do this coming winter. Stay tuned I have more Featured Friday’s coming your way!! Now go enjoy your Friday Momma’s!
I feel honored! So glad you enjoy my blog, and I do hope that focus supplement helps her. 🙂
Hi Sarah! Nice to hear from you! I’ll keep you posted on the supplement, fingers crossed!! 🙂 Have a great day!
