Dear Baby Drew,
Yes you will most likely grow up with this little nickname that we gave to you since the day we found out that you were a baby boy! You see when Mommy was pregnant with you and didn’t know you were a baby boy we called you “Baby F.” Then when we found out we were expecting a boy it turned into “Baby Drew” Your big sister seems to love it so we’ve carried the name almost three months later. Today you turn three months old my little blessing. I didn’t get to write to you after month one because……..well it’s been tough! You suddenly “woke up” and became a pretty miserable baby. Your big sister still starves for attention and their is always something that needs to be done around this big house we’ve come to love. I don’t know why MM will do anything and everything to get attention, she gets 90% of it anyways! However Momma has learnt to really love Mon, Wed and Friday’s because those are my one on one days with you my love. We get to relax, I get to enjoy each and everyone of your feedings and I get to lay on the floor and play with you. I’m also loving our night time together, your big sister goes to bed at 7 and you don’t go in until 8-830 so we get to cuddle and laugh and giggle together. It’s ironic because that is the time I used to lay in bed feeling you move around the most when I was pregnant with you. Here you are enjoying some night time snuggles with your Daddy.
Your Daddy works so hard for his family that he doesn’t get as much time with you as Momma does, but at night he always sneaks in his “Daddy Time!”
So though it’s been a rough few months you are slowly turning around. You went from being a miserable with life baby to happy and content as long as your belly is full. I’m not sure what how or exactly when it happened, the Doctor said your belly and digestive system would eventually get better as your got bigger. Whatever it was I don’t care because my heart no longer breaks after each feeding, I now can make googly funny faces at you and you coo and laugh, you even crack yourself up sometimes! Here you are enjoying “Your friends” as Mommy likes to call your activity matt.
We haven’t done too much the past few months, we’ve just stayed home and really gotten to know each other. You can read more details here. We have play dates and we’ve gone Apple and Pumpkin picking. Here is what you did when we went took you Apple picking for the first time HAHA!!
We also celebrated your Baptism this past weekend too, more on that later. You are slowly developing a little personality of your own. You seem to be so relaxed and even tempered these days. You let your big sister climb on you, kiss you endlessly, touch and poke you! I guess you don’t have much of a choice on that one!
Now if we could just get you to sleep a little better at night Momma could get more rest! Your a great sleeper I just think your belly gets hungry way too much!! Happy three months to you my precious baby….I look forward to these next few months, I can’t believe how much time is flying with you sweet one.
