Breakfast before daycare Packing my lunch Look at that face!
Home Sweet Home!
Well my boo made it!! She went off to “School” all by herself LOL….she was a big girl and did very well, her daily sheet says she ate well, she napped 2 hours and had a great day!! I can’t believe how proud I am of her!! I can’t believe how good this is going to be for her, well and me! I got to run errands, I got to go to the gym, I got to eat lunch…….in piece, all in one sitting, I was able to shower, slowly, I was able to get laundry put away without “help”. It was so nice to give a bath and not be exhausted, to make dinner and not wish for it to be over already. Just a nice feeling overall. Isn’t it an awesome feeling when you hear your husband say “We need more blah blah blah…..” and you get to say “Just bought it today hunny” and he replies with….”Your so good” It’s better than the no pat on the backs I’d get at any other job I had 🙂
So tonight I made Turkey Fajita’s in my new crockpot!! Oh yes I did!! It was delivered at 8am this morning so of course I ripped that puppy open!! I cooked it on low for 4.5 hours and then on high for a half hour then took the turkey out and shredded/diced it. Yes that’s a margarita you see their at the end with my Fajhita!!
I added some other new recipes today…….because I could!! I saw the Nate Berkus show while I was at the gym today and saw an awesome carrot recipe that I want to try. Honey-Roasted Carrots w/Walnuts Mmmmm….Then I wanted to try and find a few Quick and Easy but healthy recipes too so here is what I came up with. Smoky Chicken & Pepper Paprikash. Or one I can’t wait to try, Lightened up Fedduchini Alfredo. The other one I promised you was a Stuffed Pepper in the Crockpot.
Later this week….Quinoa Stuffed Peppers & Crockpot Lasanga!! Stay tuned and I hope you weather the snow that’s coming!!
Those turkey fajitas look awesome! Glad you had some mommy time and even happier to hear madison had a good 1st day!
Oh they were yum! Though I recommend a few tums if you have heartburn like me!! teeheee…so worth it! Thanks momma!
