Well it’s Sunday and it’s almost Halloween so you know what that means right??!!! Yes a Halloween Party for #SundaySupper! Thought Halloween was never a favorite holiday of mine, now that I have kids I have to admit I actually like it now!! Kathia over at Basic N Delicious is hosting this fabulous party this week! I can’t wait to see what everyone has made!
I have a great little treat you can whip up with your little one before Halloween at the end of next week! Or heck if you like banana’s and white chocolate this little treat is meant for you!! Happy Sunday folks!
Next time I’ll use actual white baking chocolate, I used white chocolate chips and melted them because that’s what the recipe called for but I found they got lumpy the more I kept microwaving them to melt them more. Actual baking chocolate I think melts better, but it didn’t matter they were still delish and my little cutie pie loved them!! It’s quick and easy and something to do with your little one!
Recipe From: Skinnytaste
What you need:
Banana’s
White chocolate
Mini chocolate chips
Popsicle sticks
What to do:
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Take a banana and slice them in half length wise placing them on the parchment paper. Stick a popsicle stick into the bottom of the banana, make sure you don’t push too much or it’ll break the banana. Place in the freezer for a few hours.
Melt the chocolate in a microwavable safe dish in 30 min intervals stirring in between each on melting the chocolate as you stir.
Swirl the frozen banana stick into the white chocolate coating the whole piece. Scrape the melted chocolate off from the back so it doesn’t show on the front. Place back on the parchment paper and immediately place two mini chocolate chips into the chocolate for the eyes.
Repeat with each banana and freeze until the chocolate molds. Then. Enjoy!
Here are the goodies from the rest of the party!!! It’s not too late to make one of these dishes for Halloween! 🙂

So cute! And I love that they’re healthier than the typical Halloween treat!
Boo is just fantastic and so are these boo pops!
Banana lovers, particularly the one at my house, will rejoice. Like the white chocolate!
I love these! What a great disguise for a banana!! Awesome recipe!!
So cute and while there is some sweet, it’s a great alternative to all the heavy candy!
Such an adorable recipe! I love how easy this is too. I bet the kiddos go crazy for this!
These are so cute and easy! If my chocolate isn’t melting well, I usually add a little shortening to smooth it out. It gives a nice snap to it, too.
What a fun and easy recipe to make for Halloween…I love the idea!
So used to seeing toffee apples – these banana pops are such a great alternative for Halloween!
Clever, clever, clever!
What an adorable chocolate banana! We live off of frozen chocolate bananas after long runs. They are the best!
Great idea, little goblins would love these!!
Those are adorable, and I’ll bet they’re super delicious
What a cute idea! Love the little chocolate eyes. I need to make these for my little nephews next time I’m home!
Oh how fun and cute! Nice healthy treat with the banana too. Fresh fruit is a good thing!
These are so cute, Tammi! Great tip about using BAKING white chocolate. I’ve tried melting/dipping things in regular white chocolate chips a few times in the past, and it’s never worked all that great. I’ll look for baking chocolate next time.
These look so fun! I’m not a white chocolate fan myself, but I bet these are a hit with the kiddos! Thanks for sharing on #SundaySupper.
Love the white choc boonanas! hee hee
I adore chocolate covered frozen bananas!! Making them a Halloween treat makes them even better!
We used sugar free pumpkin and vanilla pudding bc of diabetes. It worked well, and tasted pretty good.
That’s a great idea!! I may just try that, thanks for visiting!
